Concierge Midwifery Services
What to expect
Christie is now offering concierge midwifery services! This unique method of care allows clients to have the personal touch, slow paced care of a midwife while maintaining the clinical relationship with their OB or Birth Center provider. This service is ideal for those who prefer to deliver in hospital, but really enjoy the one on one time that a midwife can offer.
OB care often does not allow time for all the needs of a birthing family. The extra time that we are able to spend together in the course of this model of care can enhance your pregnancy experience, help you prepare for giving birth and make the transition into parenting feel much more supported and satisfactory. Christie’s extensive background in Trauma will help to get you ready for an empowered birth whether this is your first or 5th baby. We can work together to alleviate fear through education and support. In these visits, we will go over all questions/concerns that you may have, monitor vitals, listen to baby, work on a birth plan, birth/postpartum/lactation education and give your pregnancy the sacred and special place it deserves so that you have the chance to thrive! Partners and siblings are welcome to attend as well. All birthing people welcome! Christie’s concierge services blend seamlessly with standard OB care.
